Has anyone figured out how to turn off the annoying seatbelt chime on these new 22 frontiers, I use my truck around the yard and don't like to put on the seatbelt but can't stand that noise.

On the '22 it probably eventually stops. I haven't driven mine long enough without my seatbelt to find out. I think most new vehicles are coming that way from the factory. My wife has a Mitsubishi and it has an even more annoying ear piercing sound. Her's eventually stops but it takes forever to get there.

ah. I've had only done this on my jeep and it was.
get in, put on seat belt and close door.
foot off brake / Turn vehicle on but not start.
wait for seatbelt light to go out and then insert seat belt 3 times(insert/click/insert/click/insert/click) within 10 seconds.
turn off truck.

I'll try after work.

Just got a 2023 SV (2012 SL - RIP).

So other than unhooking the seatbelt wire, there's no other way like BNGN4X described - brake, car on, car off, click in/out/in/out etc. kinda thing? I guess it's tough to do something like this with a push-button starter.

Ford is the best at it. I had three Crown Vics and a Freestyle. Can turn off the chime permanently with a little operation. My company truck is a F-250 and there’s a “my key” setup on it. It won’t let me turn the chime off. The max speed is set at 80mph and you can’t list to the radio without the seatbelt plugged in. It wasn’t my boss’s doing I don’t believe but I have t asked him. It’s an airport truck and doesn’t exceed 30mph. Ever.

Yes, when off-roading it is common to not wear a belt. Often, belts continue to tighten when shook and they can be quite uncomfortable; not to mention Nissan warrantied my seatbelt twice now over 14 years and it is busted again (doesn't retract).

Number one problem for me. I live down many miles of dirt road and work around the property at slowish speeds without my seatbelt. The dogs like the front seat, and that alert is going to drive me bonkers. I buckle the seat belt but it gets in the way. The alert must go. My next stop is the junk yard to invest in dude’s Altima clip idea (solid temp fix for sure). There has to be a way to plug into the truck and reprogram. Or some kind of special button sequence? I’m not familiar at all with a seat belt eliminator, are they just the clip to insert into the buckle? Any programmers in the house?

It's very simple, but it only works for the Driver seat.... There is a plug that has two wires underneath the seat toward the front. Simply unplug it. NO seat belt alarm and no light on the dash. I wear my seat belt everywhere, but pulling in and out of the drive way the nanny stuff is just not necessary. The same plug exists on the passenger seat but it will show the airbag light when you unplug it.

I remembered how I stopped the beeper and dash light on my Gladiator. I looked in the garage and found the seat belt inserts that go in the female of the connectors. The seat belt plugs into it when you wear it. I got them from E Bay and this is the second truck that I have used them in. No beeps or dash light.
