I took it for an alignment. They made it worse. Now the tire rubs on anything except straight, and the steering wheel is 20° off. They said come back another day when a more experienced tech is working. 🙄

This shop is to be avoided! If they could not do a simple alignment with all the proper equipment, they are garbage! Highly recommend going elsewhere and definitely requesting a refund for services NOT rendered from the first shop. If the "experienced" tech was not available, why the fudge would the putz who knows jack $h!t touch your ride then?? I would also leave a detailed and worded review on Google so others were informed about the lack of experience, knowledge, and customer service. Just my two cents. Please keep us posted.

EDIT: Please share this shop name/location as well as the shop that actually corrects this, so others here are aware ;)

Tried to get it aligned again, its not good news.

I had taken it to firestone because I got a deal on their lifetime alignment service. They said the tech didnt know how to do it and to come back Saturday when they had a more experienced guy working.

So I went back this morning, and it turns out the first guy destroyed the cambolts to the point where only one of them works as intended now. The rest just spin and do nothing. Then they tried to blame the installer for installing them wrong, bullshit, I did it myself. Then they tried to blame the bolts for being defective. Long story long, I got my money back and theyre reimbursing me for new cambolts. I ordered OEM ones, but meanwhile I still cant drive my truck, it’s rubbing like crazy.

Maybe I’ll just have the dealer align it when the bolts come in, nobody else seems to want to touch it.

That sucks. It’ll be good as new soon. But that is definitely frustrating.

Is that hand calculated at the pump? Coz that dash mpg gauge is often way too optimistic...
Pump. Usually display is high.

Not too shabby... must be lots of downhills and tailwinds where you're driving 😁
