Hoping post will work still learning photo sizes
I was always happy with my 720's factory plastic/rubber floor liner
I searched the internet for some for my frontier with no luck. I ended up making my own with 1/8" rubber diamond plate mat from my local farm supply store
it comes off a 4 foot roll. that with a lot of white gorilla glue. I did it in 3 pieces keeping seams and most screws under seats, center console and plastic side panels all had to be removed before starting.
I had to put one relief cut down by feet by center hump but some black gutter caulk finished it off pretty good.
it was very hot out the day I did it and used chunks of steel to hold in place as I worked on it.
hope photos will show.

Back in 2008 we tried to buy a Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab that was a total work-truck, vinyl floors, manual windows, manual seats. They wouldn't meet our price (it was the cheapest truck on the lot, they weren't willing to let it go even cheaper when it was being used as their pricepoint for advertising to get people in to buy more expensive trucks) but the idea isn't necessarily a bad one if you're expecting to track mud and debris in.

I had vinyl flooring in my old Canyon and liked it at first. It was hard to keep clean because it was a light gray color and after a while it got stained to the point that it wouldn't come clean. Floor mats would not stay in place because they couldn't grip in the vinyl. I much prefer having rubber floor mats in the Frontier that can be taken out and hosed off or easily replaced if they get really bad.

That said, it looks like you did a good job and I always think it's cool when someone does any type of custom mod themselves.

I did have the weathertech floor mats in there for 14 years. the first gen. mats are not as nice as the ones for second gen. frontiers. but they did work.
my carpet got wet for a couple years from the bottom of door seals being worn out. I did replace seals but under the carpet was mud and salt from winter it had kind of a wet dog smell.

Were you ever able to fix the smell after a rain?

this reminds me of my old 04 F150 heritage.... single cab work truck that had rubber flooring that you could wash

I had a few Chevy 1/2 tons over the years with vinyl / rubber flooring. I didn't mind it at all in those trucks and it was super easy to clean. You could lightly hose off the floor if you needed to. I never quite got people wanting to put floor mats over a vinyl floor. It's a big floor mat already.
