Hi: Zedbra... Yes they are heated, large section, powered, large section, foldable entire mirror, and extendable entire mirror. Comes with black and chrome covers and plugs into harness inside the door panel. Uses all dash controls as factory ones did.
DOESN"T COME WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS THOUGH!!! Guess they figure you know what you're doing. 1st. mirror took 1& 1/2 hrs. 2nd. took 1/2 hr. We learned fast!!!

I'll be honest, I think all tow mirrors look ugly. That said, these ones are on the better looking end of the spectrum. At the very least, the fit and finish looks OEM and they look like they're well built. For people that tow often, they definitely seem like the best choice available.

Hi: Nabraham... Finding the 2 bolts behind the armrest, and one behind the door handle escutcheon took slightly longer than finding some tool box owner with a 10mm. 3/8 drive socket in Florida.

Those are some very clean looking mirrors. I didn't know that Frontier had them as an option.

I know for my work truck I use the bottom "wide view" mirror more than the main mirror! I love them!

Hi: MillerZa75...They are not a Frontier option...only avail aftermarket but make& model specific!!!

Did your OEMs have heated capability? My 2013 doesn't have that option and also wonder if you experienced a simple plug and play upgrade using existing connectors. I need tow mirrors but like to upgrade to heated while at it if simple enuff. They appear practical/functional

Hi: snuffy... Yes the OEM's were heated and powered. I used the OEM wire harness and controls. Don't know much about autolectrics except how to blow fuses ...usually mine!!! The tow mirrors are offered in several varieties to accommodate all equipment combos.

Face a little beat up from the airbag but she walked away. Lol oh ya she's paying for it, lost her car and now lawyer fees and all the random pee tests and some driving school test.

I don't see the point in swapping them back and forth, telescope them out when towing leave the telescoped in when not. Going back to the OEM mirrors is goign to be wasted effort the wind drag and effect on fuel milage would be negligable.

To activate the heated mirrors there is actually a button in the center console, it is the same button the activates the rear defrost in the back window if you have it. So to just plug then in and have heated mirrors sure it might work (if the connector is the same) but you still need a way to turn them on and off.
