Haha, No. The people behind all of us that rear end frontiers are accident prone. Also, to the best of my knowledge nobody makes an "stock" aftermarket replacement.
yeah i wish there were more options for aftermarket off road bumpers. shrocks makes one then i found another company tht makes one the other day, its like military something and they make on option for first gens. then like 10 diffrent things for the 2nd gens, its just not fair !

There are a bunch of stock ones on eBay. I can't imagine they are all genuine Nissan. Where they come from, who knows.

As far as aftermarket offroad/heavy duty style bumpers, Shrock makes one, so does KMA. A custom rear bumper should be a quick and easy job for any competent fab shop if neither of those two fit your needs.

Another thing from Hardbodys I know is interchangeable is the tailgate, and the beds are the same size. They are WAY more similar than most may think. A first gen Frontier is more closely related to a Hardbody than a second gen Frontier, they have absolutely nothing in common other than a model name.

I just bought my son a 2003 Frontier King Cab XE V6 for his first ride, the body is mint but the interior needs new seats and carpet bad. Used seats in decent condition are hard to find. Are you saying I could use same year xterra or pathfinder seats in his truck? That would open up my search for seats!

Swap for Xterra Seats. YES, 100%
Dont think pathfinder seats are a direct swap.
Altima Seats, i've seen a thread where a guy got the leather seats out of an Altima and just had to swap the rails (feet) and he was good to go. An Altima of the 2000ish style.

Yes. Many, many parts. I'm the self proclaimed interchangable parts expert. What is it you are wanting to swap?

Will a 2005 V6 Frontier Engine and transmission work in a 2002 Xterra without rewiring or special motor mounts? Looking for plug and play. If not, what is the newest year that will work? Thanks!

Rust isnt really a problem. Just find one that needs the least amount of work. Ontario uses salt in the winter so on an 18+ year old truck every used part you find will have rust to some degree. I'm a welder fitter fabricator so to me rust is easy.

It would have to come from a 1994 or 1995 Nissan pickup with V6/AT/4x4 and the same emission certification (Federal or California emissions). You might want to try Car-part.com.

Will all Nissan 6 bolt wheels fit a 2012 Frontier or just certain year models?
2005 to current Frontier, 2005 and later Xterra and 2005-2012 Pathfinder will all fit. 2004 and earlier had a larger bolt circle and will not fit a 2012.

Can you interchange the knock sensor for an 04 frontier that is part number

I can find a ton of the second ones with a harness but not the first.

There is something called a Hollander Manual.
Good junk yards have them.
It will tell you what parts, from what years and models interchange.

You could try here.............
It's free and on-line.
Don't know how good it is.

Are you doing a knock sensor relocation? If so, you use a knock sensor for a 95-99 Nissan Maxima, which is 22060-30P00, along with the subharness P/N 24079-31U01.
