Would any one be able to help me in deciding if this transmission would fit my 05 frontier V6 4X4? I obviously dont want to spend all this cash if its not on the appropriate item.

The trans from any 05-12 4x4 Pathfinder V6* should bolt right up, any trans from a 2nd gen 4x4 Xtrerra or Frontier V6* will also. The trans from the Titan is also the same as in your Frontier but I'm not sure if they bolt right up.

Why do you need a new trans? Alot of the time they can be rebuilt. Buying used is also risky as you don't know what kind of condition its in.

Okay, thats what I thought I just wanted to double check.

The reason im changing it is because I had the rediator fail and it leaked fluid into the transmission and fried the TCM.

I think the bell housings on the titan transmissions have a diffrent bolt pattern.

Titan trans will NOT work. Case is a different length. Even the gear ratios are different.

Next up, transmission computer. Some of the pathfinders used a gated shifter like the Frontiers, others a different style floor shifter that has a manual mode on a side gate. Computers are expecting one thing and give them the wrong stuff and they usually are not happy.

Once tail housing and bell housing is removed all RE5's are identical dimensions weather a frontier,titan,350Z,Infinity, they do have different gear ratios though, and 4 different valvebodies, and about 25 different TCM's.

Okay, we are all over the place here, maybe a moderator separate these out? We've got 1st and 2nd gen discussions mixed in a hodgepodge that'd do Chef Ramsey proud.
