owner's manual doesn't tell you how?

 

If it's there I can't seem to locate it, which is why I'm asking here.

 

No clue if it works on the newer Frontiers or not but I've heard double clicking the button when the engine is running will do the trick on other Nissans. Do it fast, and supposedly it will switch to off and to ACC quick enough that the radio and such will stay running. Worth a try.

 

Tried that and it seems to not be consistent like I can with my Mazda. I don't think there's really a way to do this.

 

Just tap the start button without pushing the brake.
This turns auxiliary on.

Tap twice to turn back off.

 

He's trying to get from a running engine back to accessory-only without the radio restarting.

 

I've tried the double press to go from engine running to acc to keep the radio on. I can seem to get it to work about 25% of the time. The timing is precise, not too fast, not too slow.

 

Based on what I just read in this thread it sounds like pushing it three times fast might do it. Once to turn it off and twice to go into acc.maybe a slight pause between first tap and the next two?
