Had a new master cylinder put on my 2010 Pro4X Frontier. Son put in new syn brake fluid. But when I am stopping it seems to me it is taking to long to stop. I pump the brakes two times and it stops great. Must have air in the system. How do you bleed the brakes with the abs? Thanks, gearyr

buy something like this and it makes the job so much easier
watch Youtube videos of a tool like this being used if you are not familiar with it

YES !!!^^^^^ Vacuum bleeder ^^^^ ever since I bought one of these, it's the ONLY way I bleed brakes/change fluid in all my old and new cars. It makes it a ONE MAN job and can be done at your leisure …. HUGE improvement over the old "pump-the-pedal" methods, and very reasonable cost that lasts a long time.

The Motive bleeder works exceptionally well. For ABS, I just unhook the neg battery cable. I use an adjustable handle to lodge against the brake pedal (something beneath it so it doesn't go all the way to the floor.) The Motive three prong Ford adapter was too tight with either o ring. Motive said it would work with no o ring (it does fit like that.) I got the Power Probe adapter BA 03.

You won't get the system bled without, 1. Bench bleeding the master prior to install and 2. Actuating the ABS system while bleeding. I've seen people do bleeds with the truck running and also by using a code reader that is capable of actuating the ABS system.

When I worked for Nissan, all I would do is make sure the key is off, used a vacuum bleeder and made sure to follow the proper bleed procedure: right-rear, left-front, left-rear, right-front. BTW, all brake fluid is synthetic!
