Lol the only positive about the *** feature is you get a bigger battery lol but also at least you can turn it on and off it's not constantly on
Kind of a hijack here, but on another post, it was noted that if the VVCS is disabled, the A.S.S. feature is also disabled, so no autostop but you still have the larger battery. Looks like a win. If you are as tired of these things as I am, my 2014 obviously doesn't have it, but the mother-in-laws Jeep does. What a pain in the A.S.S.

What post states that if the VVCS is disabled the A.S.S. is also disabled? You can easily disable the A.S.S with a tie strap tip.

I am currently in the process of buying a slightly used (7300 miles) 2023 Frontier Pro 4x, how do I check and see if this truck A) has any recalls and B) if so, if they have been addressed. Thank you in advance! FIRST NISSAN, fingers crossed!!

Get the VIN number and run it here:

Potentially 1,119 2024's....

"The right-side headlight assemblies may have missing or illegible headlight aim markings, which can result in improperly aimed headlights. Dealers will inspect and replace the right-side headlight as needed free of charge to resolve the concern."

EDIT: Looks like the effected units had production dates between MAY 16, 2024 - MAY 31, 2024.

The official recall info is here:

I received my recall notice from Nissan via email today about the oversized ball joint. I bought the 2024 Pro 4X in July. Dealer told me they had a stop-sale order on them and replaced it on June 22nd (if I remember the date he said) so my new truck already had the recall implemented when I bought it on July 18th.

I mean with the acc flash it will actually run better :p definitely feels different even when not using the acc
I guess I don't want to jinx it :giggle:
The acc operates well for me. So while part of me may want the latest and greatest software in the truck, I don't really need it updated. The transmission is running smooth, I'm getting good MPG's, and I'm used to using the parking brake anyways, so its all good (y) I do have the extended warranty, so if later on I feel the need, I can always have a dealer update it.
