Wheel bearing noise question ?

I have a 2014 with 157,000 on it.
It has what I believe a wheel bearing noise coming from the right side. I can't tell if it the front or rear.
Do the front or rear go out more often?
Is it common for wheel bearing to fail at this point?
Would using a MOOG be a bearing to use?
Thanks for any advice.

Both front or rear can go bad. I feel like front go out more often but I don't know that for sure. Rears are significantly more difficult to replace, and one of the rear axles (C200) has a bearing design that is much more difficult to replace than the other axle (M226).

I wouldn't use Moog, I'd stick Timken or SKF, or buy whatever Nissan sells so that you know you're getting the OEM.

On these either F or R could be a suspect. The rears go out if you don't do the diff breather mod (allegedly), and the fronts, at least back when I replaced mine, seemed to be a pretty common issue around 80-100k. For me the indication was grinding when turning and the "brake" light coming on intermittently as I was driving (I think it was the brake/ABS light?). I replaced both front hub assemblies instead of just doing the bearings. For the rears look for differential fluid weeping around the ends of the axle tubes onto your wheels/brakes.

As far as brands go, for the fronts I used Moog as I believe their hub assemblies are part of their "problem solvers" series which address some issues with the OEM parts. What that issue was, I don't remember, but the OEM ones do seem to have some premature failures. Otherwise, I'd have no issue using Timken since they seem to supply a majority of bearings used across numerous industries.

Nice you did a follow-up, a lot of OPs don't and then everyone's left wondering what the fix was, or did they just bring a lighter and some petrol and have a barbecue.
