Regarding the TPMS codes, can anyone confirm which code corresponds to which wheel on the truck and save me the trouble of deflating one at a time?
I don’t think the truck knows which wheel is where, so I don’t think it’s as simple as this code is front right & that code is rear left. If it was, can the truck tell when you rotate the tires & wheels get moved to a different corner?

I was under the belief that the receiver was in the wheel hub and not the tire. For the trucks that have the display on the dash I'm pretty sure it tells them which wheel is low, whether they've been rotated or not.

None of the 2nd Gen trucks ever had that capability, the dash display, I mean. I may be wrong. It’s happened once or twice. I’m about 4,000 miles away from next rotation & I don’t wanna know bad enough to go swap em around myself just to see. I do know when I set mine up originally I named each one “FRT”, “FLT”, etc. I don’t believe that’s where they are today.

I was worried about that, but then I ended up not really caring. When I go off roading and air down or fill them up I get all four on the display just start doing it; then see which one starts going up or down as it drains or fills.

Then I figure if one of them goes low, I'll walk around the truck and see it.

I wanted to have them numbered 1-4 left to right, front to back; but then when I rotated them I realized I would have to re-number them.

If you really want to do it, then keep a log. But I also wonder if the car picks assigns them randomly by which one it receives first. I was recording it in a little book I keep and could swear that it changed between starts and stops.

My recommendation...just let it go. and that's coming from a type-A(ish) personality. Or maybe I'm just chilling out a little in my old age.
