Wanting to wire up some off road lights this weekend and wondering where people are running the wires through the firewall? I was hoping for a clean install with a gromit or something that I don't have to worry about.

Any pic anyone has would be helpful as well.

Probably should have done that first before jumping on the new thread button. This gen truck is approaching 10 years. Every imaginable topic has been covered countless times, all easily found with a search.

Why not post links to what you found for the next person, who smartly chooses to search first before starting a new thread, who will undoubtedly find this thread and click on it?
Blind threads like this one suck because they clutter search results. You can fix yours by providing links.

I would think thousands of responses to newbs not searching and great big annoying interactive signatures would clutter up the forum more than another thread asking about the firewall? But what do I know?

There wouldn't be "thousands of responses to newbs not searching and great big annoying interactive signatures" if one would just search first before starting a repeat thread.
You yourself admitted to finding "plenty" of threads after searching. So why wasn't that done first?

And as suggested above. Make this thread useful for the next member that searches and clicks on this thread. Post links to the plenty of threads you found.

yeah what zoom said.this forum is only supposed to be used like a dictionary where no human interactions are allowed.if being on a forum bothered me as much as it seems to do you.why in the hell are you here ??? just to sell 50hp nismo decals that nobody wants ?

Maybe we should just restrict all posting for new members until they've searched 1000 times. Or they could just be made to stare at zoomzoom's signature until they leave the forum. That should help reduce clutter on the forum

For feeding DC power through the firewall, these "bulkhead" terminals are kind of cool...

just un-tape the the end of the harness seal under the hood. Take a 2' long piece of bare #12 copper, bend it in half, push the looped end through the seal. Go under the dash and drop your wire through the loop(12'' tail to be safe) the go back under the hood and pull the copper back.
