Nah, I don't think it has anything to do with "active threads". Otherwise, anyone can just keep making the same thread over and over and over but change the target to something else... like 50,000 Korean Won, or 250,000 Japanese Yen, or 20 seashells, etc.

The forum already gets enough "rehash" threads already that just die out after 10 or so repeat replies because the topic is just a repeat itself... lots of examples of the other commonly repeated thread types, i.e.:

• "I want to lift my truck, tell me what you have and show me your lifted pics!"
• "Hey I'm new to the forum and I want to get new wheels, what sizing should I get and show me what you got!"
• "I'm in the market for a tonneau cover, what do you have and post pics!"
• "I have a 2xxx Frontier, looking to upgrade my stereo. Tell me what you have and post pics please!"
• "I just bought a Frontier and I want to go bigger tires, post your pics and sizes!"

If you can find it on sale for less than $300, my favorite mod is my Hypertech Max Energy programmer. Up here in Denver N/A engines struggle, so removing the WOT restriction and adding a little top end power has been great!

It is very simple. Did a writeup of it here Depending on how meticulous you want to be, a couple hours is very reasonable install time.

I just bought some grey Neoprene to do this.
It looks like you wrapped both sides of the stock rubber cover and just put the trey back on top, is that correct?

I just separated the gray from the cover, wrapped a bandana around the cover, then put it back together. The tray underneath is exposed, but all the rubber cover is covered.

Well I spent an hour trying to convince the Neoprene to allow me to wrap my cover. I got my *** kicked
I might have had more luck if I had an ambidextrous monkey as a helper. I needed another set of hands (or lots of little clamps) to hold the Neoprene in place, keep it tight, and put the plastic internal cover back on. May try again before I go buy some thinner fabric then Neoprene.
