This happened suddenly - my low-tech son called said the truck was acting ‘funny’. I went into dad rescue mode and swapped vehicles & I drove the truck home. It seemed to be shifting early and driving boggy at low RPMs.
When I started checking the next day, fluid is fine and full. But won’t shift into reverse. The column shifts but it’s not going into gear. P and R are both Park, every other is Drive! Underneath the cable is snug on the trans and is moving the lever w/ no obvious kink or clunk. What do you think? What is internal to that lever & can it be replaced?
