You won’t rub with 285/70/17 on stock sus, has beadlock style wheels.
That's awesome! Curious though, What do the beadlock wheels have to do with fitment?
My truck is a Pro-4X without beadlocks. Here is a picture of mine:

A question if you don't mind:

Are your wheels the same offset & width as the factory Pro-4X wheels?
I'm wondering since my plan would be to keep the factory wheels along with the lift & bigger tires!
Those wheels are 8 inches wide, compared to 7.5 for the stock wheels. Same offset of 30.
When picking tires, check the recommended width of rim the manufacture recommends.
Toyo recommended a range between 7.5 and 9 for those tires, but it could be different depending on which tire you choose.

Did you speak to the owner of that truck? Because I did!
Spoke with the salesman that drove this truck and he indicated that it did rub slightly at full lock when compressing.
Same thing I am getting with my truck.

the miniscule amount of rub I get with the same size tires is worth it!
Have you considered a 2" lift to alleviate the rubbing? That's what I'm planning on doing before I put in the 285's!

You going 285/70/17, and two inch kit?
Yep! That's the plan. 2" isn't alot of lift so it should look fine + it should help avoid any possible rubbing. I'm just gonna wait a little till I see other owners results. I also would like to see more lift options since they are limited so far.

now im thinking if I should go the same route, I was thinking of going 285/75/17

Do it! If 285/70 slightly runs stock, I’m thinking 285/75 will be no rub with lift. What do you think?
I guess it should work. I'd love bigger of course.
When I'm ready to do it, I'll start looking at it. I figure a couple of months.
I just did a size comparison on tiresize.com,
I dont know how it would look! It's the same width as the 285/70 but it's a 34" instead of a 33". It might look too skinny because of the increased height. I'm gonna check out the gallery at the Custom Offsets website and get an idea with other comparably sized trucks.
