It's does give pause for contemplation however. One can easily see how and why they are going under. So it's not surprising then why Honda walked away from them, corrupt culture and hard to change. My own experience with them goes back to 1970 when they were still called Datsun. They were always junk out of the 3 big Japanese manufactures.

I haven't yet, it will be another 3 years if I do. Saving up the money and if I live that long.
I'm a student of good engineering, after I dumped the dog 2017 I had I swore off Nissan.
Then in 2022 when they did the redesign with the new engine I damn near fell out of my chair.

@Grizzly Snowshoes - the more you share about yourself the more you make sense. You've seemingly AND MISTAKENLY thought all Gen 2 Frontiers were slow dogs w/ subpar load carrying abilities. Well, you had a Gen 2 KC S w/ an I4* w/ reduced cargo capacity compared to the 4.0/V6. On top of all this, your approach to darn near everything is about rising above it all and towering over everything in some kind of a targeted conspiracy-mode kind of thinking. If you don't even own a Frontier, then you should just move along to some other forum along w/ all your antics. I'm not calling this an attack, just merely pointing out inconsistencies.
There's my $0.02 worth.

*I mean absolutely zero disrespect to any Gen 1 or 2 w/ a 4-cyl. I loved my Gen 1 2.4/5-sp. While a bit slower, she was a workhorse & work truck that never quit and performed everything my current Gen 2 V6 is being asked to do.
