24 SV - The VCSS de-pin worked but disabled my start/stop. Went to re-pin and scewed up the pink wire. The pin won’t hold and when driving, start/stop doesn’t work at all. I’m still seeing a constant 14.1V… and at a stop the “Auto” lights up with a line through it (see pic) but the truck doesn’t shut off. Did I short circuit the connector that is attached to the battery terminal or is the pink wire pin that I kind of messed up my problem? I don’t mind buying the whole harness to get the connector and can solder the new 4 wire connector on but what do you think is going on here and does anyone have access to the name or part number of the grey plug that goes into the black piece on the negative terminal? Maus Nissan is useless.

Having the VCS battery sensing wire disconnected tricks the system into thinking the battery voltage is low, thus the reason it deactivates A/S/S and allows the alternator to put out more voltage.

Either way, having A/S/S disabled is a good thing mechanically and electronically for the entire drivetrain.
