Does this topper look familiar to anyone? Someone posted on Facebook but not a lot of details. Hoping to track down some more photos of the setup.

Took a little google lensing but I found it. Google Ironhaul canopy-v-1
Funny thing is that the use a Frontier for the example they do not list a model for a Frontier. I would love something like this too, but need to be able to mount bikes down lower on the side instead of the top. I swear I saw a canopy that had bike racks as an option on the sides.

No, the guys Facebook marketplace post was pretty sketchy so I dropped it. I did find some similar setups on a Canadian site, which looked like something from Temu.

Now that you have had the Jason topper for a while, how is the quality?
I have zero complaints. For what I got in total for the price, compared to some other manufacturers, I’m very happy. There’s been zero issues, fits like a glove, and everything like the lights, struts, windows, etc work perfect. I’m very happy with it.

Does anyone have the dimensions from the bottom of the bed to the opening of the camper as well as the inside height? Would get a Leer model or similar. I am thinking about downsizing from a 1/2 ton and have a drawer system similar to decked, wondering how much space I am going to lose.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you’re looking for an angled measurement in the for depth? Or do you mean height in both cases?

As for height on my Jason shell (which is almost exactly the same design as my Leers) the total height, which is the highest point of the bed to the roof is 39, while the highest bed point by the tailgate to the shell window frame when open is 35”. I attached to some photos to make sure it’s what you’re asking for.

I'd be super interested in this one also. I wonder if $3500 is considered a higher end price for hard truck caps. But the Ironhaul appears to be a newer company, as there are very few circulating reviews on it that were very recent. I'll keep a look out for these guys when I'm at a point where I'll want to get one of these.

How's the topper holding up? I'm looking for this exact setup and color
It's fine. I had one on my last Nismo for 16 years. No problems. But, Leer moved it's manufacturing from northern California to Mexico, and I think that the quality has gone down hill.
I still prefer the Leer over the ARE here in Canada.

I just had a fit issue with the ARE at the back tailgate not closing leaving a gap between the gate and the window plastic thing that covers the tailgate. Does yours fit right to the tailgate?
Mine fits perfect. If it doesn't fit right, I would bring it back to the cap dealer.

Thanks yes
Hopefully they get it right for you. You can see in my photos how it fits by the tailgate. Also, you can see another ARE cap just above these posts of a red one and how it fits to the tailgate. It should close and not be to snug or it will create rubbing on your tailgate.

you can't tell by outside but looking in my review mirror seeing this big gap is not good all my 4 previous caps never had a gap. That gap between liftgate and window closure is 1/4 to 1/2 inch allowing stuff to blow in.
thanks for your comments.
