Yes the LEDs are Cree. If you are going to order from eBay. I would recommend ordering from the company that both of mine came from. I have friends that went as cheap as they could and theres leak. I have had my bumper bar for about 8 months and with rain, car washes and pressure washes. Not one sign of moisture.

Could you post pics with a close up of how you mounted the light bar in the grill?

Thanks!

I did mine a little different than he did. I can post pictures of mine too in the next few days. I bought an auxbeam 30 inch bar on Amazon. It has three adjustable mounting points. I only used two. There are 3 plastic pop rivets inside the bumper mouth on the top. I took the two outside ones out and bought 5/16th nut and bolts for the brackets. They fit right through the holes and into the holes in the metal behind. I took the grill of just to make accessing it easier but could be done without. I also bought a mictuning remote harness from Amazon. All in all I did not have to drill any holes and didn't have to run anything through the firewall. Here is the only picture I have right now and I will take a few more and upload them tomorrow.

I will take some tomorrow. I took the plastic piece out and drilled and tapped two square pieces of aluminum and stuck them to the bottom and put everything back together and mounted the light bar. Mine don't have a big gap on the too or bottom. I thought about mounting it like the guy above did but didn't like the gap also mine is curved and curves perfectly with the curve of the bumper.

After searching and reading all the threads about this and seeing how every one was looking for the guinea pig to try something, well your wait is over lol. I bought a set of the 50" curved brackets from Putco and bought a 50" curved bar and thought what the hell, well it worked out and fit fine. well for me it did because i wanted to mount mine as close to the roof as i could and with that, i have zero noise or whistle like some have complained about. here are a few pictures.
Any chance we can get a shot with the door open and seeing the door jam on how its mounted?

What did you bolt those to? I've not paid enough attention to that part yet, but I'll look when I get home. Did you use nut set rivets?

How high is the bottom of the light bar from the roof?

Dammit...I've been trying to avoid an LED roof bar as I wasn't sure how it would look with my 4 KCs and a rack...but dammit those mounts are slick...

I bought these brackets but am concerned with what will happen with leaking and or whistling from inside the door jamb. This has been what has kept me from putting it on. Have these things been an issue for you?
