And you might want to carry 2 spares. All the race trucks do. I have had more than 1 flat on a single trip too.

Did your old rear bumper hitch have a class or tow rating? A while ago I learned that built in hitches don't come with a class rating as it would require testing and certifications to be able to market it as a class XX. Has that changed?
I do not remember and not sure atm but I do know it has built in reinforcement bar etc... maybe that counts for something??

OE hitch is the only one that is class 4. ALL aftermarket ones are class 3. Although it doesn't really matter for towing as these trucks can't really out tow a class 3, but the 4 has more tongue rating which can be useful.
You are factoring in a weight distribution setup. Not all trailers support that. Without, you run over the rating easily. Curt is only 500/5000

Show me your steel front bumper as that is also on my list of things to do. I am eyeing options at Z1Offroad.
Here is what I’ve got. This is the one from CBI. At the time, Z1 didn‘t have any front bumpers, but now that they do, so it’s worth some serious consideration. For the CBI products, their skid plate package was designed to fit nicely with the front bumper. You may find the same thing with the Z1 options. So be mindful that whoever you choose to purchase your bumper from, if you choose to upgrade your skid plates you likely should buy from the same company.

That looks sweet!

Thanks! Keep us all posted on what you decide to do. It’s exciting times when you’re shopping for truck mods. Enjoy it to the fullest!
It is! I just need to get my truck lifted at least 4 inches. It sits too low for my taste at the moment. I saved my tires/rims from the Xterra and hoping to use these on the Fronty. I had a 4" lift on the Xterra which was a 2 inch body lift and 2 inch suspension lift. I will have to see if the 2" lift front coil overs by AllDogs OffRoad is compatible for my truck. I also have the SPC UCA's for the front and not sure if it is compatible as well. I will post another thread asking on this.

The closest you’ll get to 4” is Dobinsons or titan swap

I prefer not to do a body lift this time round.
Then Titan swap it is. There isn’t enough downtravel on the front end to lift it 4” without a Titan swap.

Is this Titan swap just for the front with a lift in a rear plus wheel adapters to match the front?
For that you’ll have to get help from somebody else or go through the lift sticky in the 2nd Gen suspension section. It’s not something that interests me.
