Is there an easy fix for a drivers window that rattles when it's partially open? Is the regulator worn out? There is some front to rear play in it like something is loose or worn out. Man. Windows. Thanks,,,,,,,, coz

no, if the windows down theres nothing to prevent it to move around. like theres only the base holding it. then there rubber at the bottom of the window sill. think of window sill only really being a fulcrum point...its just nissan is not BMW or merc. or high end sports cars. ever listin to a door on a merc. or BMW close? now compare it to ford, nissan, dodge, or chevy.... all the doors rattle except for the nice(er) cars theyre made better have less play in things like that. thats just how it is.... unless there wasnt that much play before or you just never noticed it. but my windows are the same way, and they are manual windows as well

Thanks red, it rattles while I'm driving, when it's partially open. It drives me nuts.
mine does too, its not as bad though, before i bought the window covers i think it was worse cuse more air hit the widows. but i couldnt prove that factually. it still rattles but tires are louder then the windows.. then i just turn it up the radio more. its normally blaring anyways... so out of all the things i dont notice it to bad any more

Only my drivers side seems to do it. Auto windows.

I only notice it when I'm going slow over stuff, normally on logging roads where the truck bounces around. On roads I don't notice it, only when opening/closing the door.

Are the windows loose...as in not completely cemented into their tracts inside the door at the base? They can go up/down just fine...but try gently pulling up on a halfway closed window. If they are loose this MIGHT be your issue, but I am NOT for certain. Figuring a way to further secure them might help.
Is the weatherstripping in decent shape on the sides and at the top?
