I bought a the Pioneer DEH-P5900IB car stereo and would like reintergrate the audio steering wheel control with this new radio - would like some tips, tricks, ideas and on how to get this accomplished. I havent been able to research this yet and if anyone knows how I can get started I would greatly appreciate it!

You need a PAC audio adapter. There are a few wires and resistors the need to be hooked up. Some people say it's hard, I didn't think so though. The programming can be a bit confusing but once you get it right it works like a charm. here's a link
SWI-PS
you can find them on Ebay a little cheaper.

x2 on this. There is also a unit by the name Peripheral, does the same thing. You just need to read the resistors (I'm color blind, so I have my son or wife help me ) or use a volt/ohm meter.

I'm sure we'd help you out if you get stuck.

I actually have that same hu and the swi-ps and hook-up is pretty simple, but I am still having trouble programming the thing. (Mine didn't come with factory steering controls either)
