Hey all. Got a 2001 nissan frontier 4x4 crew cab. Vg33e. Has the check engine soon light on. Pulled the code. P0150 wich I believe Is the 02 sensor bank 2 sensor 1. I was curious where this is located. Firing order from rotor cap is 1 center then 1-6 counter clockwise. Is it left right and where?

Regards cody.

Welcome to Club Frontier!!! Hope this response is able to help you out....

You might want to download a copy of the Nissan Factory Service Manual from any one of the weblinks below. Follow the procedures listed in the FSM to troubleshoot & diagnose the reason for the P0150 code. The FSM should have a diagram showing you where the 02 sensors, (Bank 1 & Bank 2), are located. Remember to check the wiring harness and grounds to the O2 sensors. Wires and grounds get brittle with the heat generated by the engine & along with the age of the wires & connectors.

The engine has 6cylinders arranged in two rows (banks) of 3 each. Typically the passenger side is bank 1. Driver's side is bank 2. The cylinder furthermost from the firewall is #1 on the bank 1. Same with bank 2.

The O2 sensor is located just upstream of the catalytic converter on the bank in question.
