I just bought a 2022 S King Cab 4x4 and noticed on the ride home there is no Tow Haul button. The window sticker said it has the Anti Trailer Sway feature for towing so shouldn’t there be a tow haul button. I see the spot for it but it is blank. Anyone run into this? Can I just buy the button from Nissan and plug it in?

I have a "TOW" button on my 2022 SV. Looking at the steering wheel, the "TOW" button is the 3rd one to the left of the steering column (similar to your picture). Press it and you get a green TOW indication on the dash. On my list of options I show that the "Trailer Hitch with Wiring Harness" is in the "SV Convenience Package" (which I believe is the feature needed for the "TOW" button), so you have to have a similar package. The "Trailer Sway Control" also appears in my standard features. Hope this helps.

My experience with "TOW" on my Titan is that it's for transmission keeping it in a lower gear range longer. The only real heavy thing I tow is my 20' pontoon and that is only 15 miles 2x per year, but you never know when it will come in handy.

My SV (which I bought the day it showed up at the dealer as it was a dealer spec'd truck) the "Technology Package" which includes Rear Sonar System (and some other stuff). So those parking sensors aren't standard.

You have the button so maybe others can get the switch and add it? I won’t tow enough to really need it.

I just read all 49 posts. It was exhausting, LOL!!
What a mess of options, features & packages both here and in Canada!

Hey so I just got done installing that button in my 2022 Frontier King Cab S 4x4 with the tech package. It was actually pretty easy. It took less than 10 minutes for me.

You'll need the Switch ASSY-TOW which has a part number: 25129-9BU0A. I got the part at my local dealer for $14. You will take out one Phillips screw over by the hood release handle, and then there are 3 clips on the left and four on the right of the lower dash panel. You don't need to use any tools, start at the bottom and work your way up. Then there will be a white plastic harness piece going to the top set of buttons (trip reset, gauge cluster brightness) where the plug is taped to. Take the plug out of the taped bundle and then you need to carefully push out the button blank using a flathead screwdriver and then install the new button and plug it in. Turn the car on and hit the button and you will see the tow light on in green where the tachometer is. Reinstall the lower dash panel taking note that you have to work your way around the drivers door weatherstripping and make sure you give it a nice push. The best way to do it is to work from the bottom up. Reinstall the screw into the hood release handle and you are done. I tried to make a video but my phone overheated so I took pictures.
