Hey, I just bought a Dual XDVD269BT double DIN radio for my 2012 Frontier SV. What steering wheel control interface should I use? The Metra ASWC-1 or the PAC SWI-RC?
also will this wire harness work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...e=sl1&tag=montrealsky-20&linkId=7256790a32d0878d630a495d080c6a59&language=en_US

Thanks in advance
I bought that exact harness in October of '16 and has been working great ever since. Also bought the Metra steering wheel interface and could never get it to work after multiple attempts - I've read where other have had issues too. Will probably grab this and give it a shot soon. I miss the steering wheel controls.

The idatalink Maestro SW steering wheel controller is programmed using a computer that is connected to the steering wheel controller (using the idatalink website program). As long as you have an internet connected computer with a USB port, you should be able to program this controller - including the "long-press" button functions. I haven't personally used this controller though.
The Metra SWC (steering wheel controller) should work - at least for short-press functions. Are you sure you wired it correctly, and if your truck originally came with a separate bluetooth module, did you use the needed bluetooth bypass on it?
