Question for everyone in the community, GReddy, Mishimoto, or Nismo magnetic oil drain plug which one is better? Anyone have any thoughts. Thanks. I know they are not magic but they do provide a small amount of oil cleaning and with how sensitive our variable valve timing is I know every little bit will help

I did that a few times. the vvt assembly has been replaced twice because the check engine light wouldn't go out. Three mechanics looked at it tried different things. Drove great no issues just the vvt sensor was not happy. Then one day the light went out and it's been fine ever since. So I just was trying to keep her happy with the magnetic plugg. I figure a few extra dollars for a possibly happier vvt assembly I'm down

Actually my light went out and everything has
been great for months now. Last mechanic said frontys are notorious for issues with the vvt and throwing codes

Thanks for the input now I have options and research to do. I know they are not needed but I'll take any help for my engine to make its life better, even if it's only 0.01% help for $10 I'm ok with that. I was a mechanic for 15 years in the airforce @ MacDill AFB working under SOCOM and saw all kinds of vehicles and the wear and tear they took. Anything that can help and I can do inexpensively I'm down.

Wow thanks for the share. I just put my magnetic oil plug in last month. Looks like yours picked up some fine particles. Def rather it get picked up by the magnet then swim around freely in my engine. Thanks again for the post and picks. I say it doesn't hurt to have one. Any help prolonging the engine and its components is always a good thing.
