2002 SE 3.3 crew cab. My truck is making this loud noise. It runs perfectly fine just makes a lot of noise. It has almost a hundred and one thousand miles and timing belt is original. Can you guys please listen in the video and tell me if you think this is timing belt noise? Maybe tensioner bearing? It sounds a lot louder when I'm underneath the vehicle. Really really hard to pinpoint where the noise is coming from. Thanks!

If mine, I'd pull the drive belts off and run for a couple of seconds to see if the noise is still there.

And at your miles, timing belt should be changed anyway, recommend to do that now anyway !!!

I 2nd that. When i bought my 2000 in 2013 with 64k miles on it i wasted no time and got the timing belt replaced. 13 year old cracked belts are a real possibility. Yours are now 17yrs old. Playing with fire imo. Could be any one of those pulley bearings going out too. Shouldn't be to hard to diagnose especially if you take it in to get a timing job done. They'll figure it out unless you're going to do that timing job yourself.

It's hard to determine by just a video clip, but, to me, it sounds similar to a bad water pump. That's something I would replace, regardless, if I was replacing a 17 year old timing belt! It could be a tensioner bearing, too. Let us know when you figure it out!
