Could you change the color of the halos?
Probably if you wanted to get into them but i wouldn't. You can tell they're hand made. I can see where shot silicone or something with a caulking gun and stuck the big front lens on. Doesn't look bad, you have to get up close to see. It just doesn't look factory i can guarantee you they're all hand made.

There is a way to have your FOGS turn on with the Parking LIghts. POST #4 The early 1st Gens aren't like moding the Facelifted 1st Gens. Pretty Easy To Do but took me some time going over the schematics to figure it out.

are those the same as the ones on the blue truck in the forums top banner pic?

if the halos were orange to match the corner lights i might like them more
They're not the exact listing as those were like $200 more but the ones i bought are probably made by the same guy and look IDENTICAL.

And yeah Orange may work

The Projector Headlights Look Good. Lots of Light. The Pattern isn’t Perfect but that could just be my adjustment skills. They shine bright and far down the road. Nobody has flashed me yet. Glad I upgraded. Time will tell what the longevity is but for now I’m very pleased

Pics From This Morning at The Beach. Head Lights Look Good. Blue Halos Disconnected. FOGS Wired To Come On With Daytime/Parking Lights. Screw The Blue Halos. Don’t Need Them Anyway

I wonder if the smoked lens covers you found would fit on those. I think the smoked look would greatly improve the daytime look of that ... which is so... idk intense lol. And you could just pop them off if needed at night.

Here's a very shitty mockup. I think it improves the look a lot. What do you think?

Thats not a bad idea. WIth my 3rd Gen i put a protective film on them from a Ceramic Shop that Ceramic Coats automobiles, windows, headlights, etc.. They do have smoked colors for headlights too.

Ya know I had a thought, not to derail the projector retrofit which is likely better. The D22 was sold in Europe as the Navara yes? I think it looks like it was '97-02 before they got the facelift model (if im reading wiki correctly). The 9004 (HB1) bulb is a (shitty) NA only bulb to be economical/long life + comply with DOT. In Europe they have a different standard and therefore a different housing and different bulb. Anyone ever import a European Code headlight housing from a right hand drive EU country? I see this is a somewhat common thing people have done for other models of vehicles. Looking at some foreign autoparts store websites plugging in a 2000 Navara yields a H4 bulb which is better and has a lot more options.

^ here you go.
look at bottom left of lens (attached) circled E4 - european code approval country 4 (netherlands) - continental europe so Right Hand Traffic
No arrow underneath circled E-code confirming safe to drive in RHT countries. (1 arrow = LHT - UK, AU, JP. Bidirectional arrow means switchable for RHT or LHT)

I can see the H4 bulb in the back of the housing in the other pics.

meaning you can run these AND get that sweet sweet 55w low beam (9004/hb1 is 45w but even more critically is very bad geometry for good beam)

So who will do it? lol

Edit - oh if you're even more discerning Japan claims to have them new:
