Ok guys I need some help. As you all know finding aftermarket parts for the first gen Frontiers is no easy task. They have a ton of LED lights for the ‘01-‘04 but little to none for the classic Frontiers. I have had my current headlights on my truck for about three years. Absolutely love them no complaints whatsoever. However, I put LED bulbs in my taillights and in the interior lights and I’m really pleased with the increased brightness.
I’m kinda weird (understatement) and it kinda drives me crazy that my headlights and fog lights are halogen but everything else including license plate lights are LED.
There is a pre-facelift headlight kit on eBay moters that are LED with Halo rings. But there’s no reviews and I’m not sure I like the overall look without more extensive pictures. Fits NISSAN FRONTIER D22 98-00 Pre-Facelift LED Halo Bi-LED Headlight Chrome LHD | eBay
So here is the big question, would it be possible to swap in headlights from another truck such as a Tacoma? The face lift frontys headlight design is complete different so I think that’s out of the question but a 1998-2000 Tacoma are very similar (appearance wise) to the 2000 Frontier headlights. There are a ton of after market options LED with halo strips which is what I really want for a sick looking truck at night.
If anyone has any advice or experience on this please let me know. I’ve saw where people convert the current lights to led and swap in halo rings but I don’t like the look of them. If I had a 2000 Tacoma light laying around I would try it myself before purchasing but the only one I have available is a 80s model.

These are the ones I’m considering, the blinkers obviously are attached to the headlights whereas the Frontiers are separate but it would still fit, the question is would it look bad and have weird gaps around the grille or what? There are obviously a ton of different options including a few Ford Ranger lights.
I know there are some guys on here with a ton of experience with these trucks and have experiment with different aftermarket parts and I would appreciate any tips or advice.
Thanks in advance
