Has anyone installed the Dee Zee EZ down on your Frontier? I like the design of Dee Zee over the Sachs because the Dee Zee has a ball and socket mount not the clip on. My research indicates that Dee Zee does NOT make one for the Frontier however I am willing to mod the installation (ie drilling a new hole in tailgate), has anyone done this and if so, which Dee Zee (model #) did you use. Thanks for any help you can provide as I really want add a tailgate assist.

I received and installed mine today, it works great. I installed a couple of small zip ties to hold the clip in place and used two thick zip ties to hold the chrome plate to the hinge at the bottom and not relying just on the one screw.
I felt like a weakling as I had to use a breaker bar to remove the hinge bolt, lol.
It works very well, the price was really fair and the seller did a great job sending it right out and had it across the country in only a couple of days. It was a win, win, win for me.
