What is the white diamond pattern? Just an illustration of pattern? What is really needed is to cover the lower grill opening as well. You mention “Recent”. Does this mean you won’t be covering 2005+?

 

It will be all black. The illustration has the white to highlight the honeycomb pattern

 

Personally I think it would be cool to see "Frontier" across the front instead of Nissan.

The OEM grill has conflicting lines and your design softens and eliminates that. Please keep the forum posted on date of availability and price.

i found something similar last year on ebay grille i would be down to get something like this. the stock grille is lame.

 

Too bad this one won’t fit current gen US models.

I think the fitment versatility would be great for 2005+ and a badge option of Frontier or Nissan, or blank would be awesome. Mounting plate/tabs towards the top behind the grill for LED light options would be neat as well. These would sell like hotcakes.

 

I like the idea of saying Frontier on it. Would definitely be interested if it is reasonable.

 

You guys realize that the front ends are different between 05-09 and 10-present right?

 

That’s kinda the point of the post, about getting a new grille for the current gen.

Looks good as shown in post; I'd take one at a reasonable price.

 

Why not just do color variations with no brand or model designation. Would not want to be shut down for trademark infringement or lack of brand licensing. Still want one.

 

Good point, or better yet, don’t waste time with attempting to acquire permission. Simple home Vinyl decal and you control that part of the customization.

I'm definitely interested in seeing what you come up with. I don't like the faux chrome burger or the matte silver bucktooth insert on my 2014, have been thinking about painting the insert body color to match, but something like this replacement would be even better.

 

I'll probably buy one for my 2019, I hate the OEM grille. I would prefer a non branded style grille, personally. But I'm open to creative ideas.

Here is the lower grill I added to my 2018 Desert Runner.

 

I have some DLR LEDs that I want to attach to a lower grill that is more of a mesh pattern. A tight one that I can drill 3/4 inch holes for mounting and preferably metal and stout.

That grill looks fantastic!!! I’ll buy one for sure!!! I added this lower grill to my 2018, had to cut and fit but it turned out great!!!

I could see myself snagging one with white lettering, but as others have said 3 - 5 lights in there would be great.

 

I'd be interest in a replacement grill.
I don't care for the factory chrome grill on my SV and was trying to figure out what to do about it. The blackout grill would be a nice enhancement. Please keep us posted with a date of availability and price.
