Everyone who has a BakFlip G2 complains about the quality, just a heads up. I wanted one too, before I looked into it. I pretty much gave up on the bed cover for now. I can't find one that will work with my utilitrack system and specifically the bed extender freely. They're all expensive and only the really expensive ones don't have an over-whelming amount of complaints. I've definitely never seen a soft cover I'd pay for. Thought long and hard about a hard topper (looks so clean) but they're even more. Might be worth it if I had a long bed and could actually sleep in it.

What I did was bought a chest tool box that was short enough to stay under the bed sides and then bought a roll up cover. Worked out pretty well. If I need to get to my chest it takes about 10 seconds to roll the cover up and out of the way.

Ok... That price is more what I was expecting haha... I thought 400 dollars was cheap for an OEM part.

Do you need to have utili-track to use that? My truck doesn't have that, so that limits my options a little bit (I'm thinking about trying to do some DIY stuff).

I've got plenty of tool boxes laying around that I could use with that cover... Just need a way to tie them down

Toolbox Champion Black 355002, Tool Boxes, Delta Champion at truckaccessorypro.com.

sorry i dont know how to do pics, if you give me your email i can send you some of my set up. i have a bakflip and love it, no leaks and have had it for 2 years. i recently bought a delta champion black tool chest model no. 355002. it fits perfectly at the front of my bed and my wheel wells. almost like it was built for these trucks. plenty of storage space and fits perfectly under the bakflip. i have a kc so it may not work if you have a cc short bed. i mounted d rings to the box and chained and locked it up to the hooks in the bed. will try to figure out pics.

I just ordered the Bakbox. Hoping it arrives at destination by next Saturday, as I am driving through Maine then. Will let folks know how I make out. For the record, my G2 has been great. Only problem I have had is that I broke off one of the screws of one of the arm locks. I think it happened when I was loading some branches, in a "not so gentle" fashion.

I've got the Truxedo and I've noticed a small leak once. I had the same cover on my 08 and it never leaked. I just need to figure out why this one has leaked. I'm sure it is a seal on the head panel, but just haven't checked it out. I've been very happy with this unit and the Truxedo people are very helpful. It is my second one on Frontier LB's.
