Is there a chip and/or available defeat for the Auto Start/Stop. I know, "press the on/off button". I would prefer to shut it off permanently. I did read through TxDayTraders post, not sure it would work for a 2025.

Those are kinda pricey. if i just wanted to do an A S S delete, i would go with the cut-off zip tie wedged in the button. Cost less than .02 cents.

I just did the 4D tech module on my 2025. The hardest part is unclipping your trim pieces. Taking my time and it took about 15-20 minutes. The small wire harness looks factory and clips in line behind the 12v cigarette lighter for power and the other end clips in line behind the A.S.S. switch. You can enable the feature again by just pressing the button though I can't imagine why you'd want to.

The whole thing is plug and play, no messing with cutting into factory wires.

It basically remembers your last selection.

I installed a jumper wire while I had my dash apart for the stereo upgrade. Hasn't come back on since and didn't cost me anything as I already had the wire. I don't think my brain would let me do the zip tie thing, knowing there was a cut off piece of zip tie that I could likely see wedged in there would bother me to no end.
