nice! I've read that on here, apparently you can go to fill your truck up and it will not fill up all the way, theres a thread on here all about it, my 2017 has no issues but I think it could even effect the later models.
I could be wrong but you only have an issue if it happens and then you need to take it in.

but 15 years or 150k is good, but IMO since this is a known issue should be damn near lifetime

 

I got mine today, too. Every so often I'll get a nozzle that doesn't want to stay full on, but usually after adjusting it straight it works ok. Jberger, that's a decal on the letter, supposed to stick it on the warranty manual.

Got the letter for my 2013 SV. Have had it cut off maybe twice a year, but probably as many times on my 2015 Altima. So I don't have the problem so far.

 

I think I got one a while back for my pathfinder, possibly could have read it on here and was thinking I got one. Anyways it’s ok.
I had a problem on my Silverado because I tried to top off the tank too much... learned my lesson on that!

 

no letter for me. I have the issue where the pump doesn't cut off and gas pisses out all over my truck .

 

got mine for my 2013 and I'm the second owner surprised they tracked me down

 

I got the letter ...for my 2012 , It cuts off at the gas pump once in while.

Also If I recall correctly .. I think Nissan addressed this issue around 2016 ...so if you have a newer Frontier you may not have the problem.

 

Got one for my 12 but I run the nozzle on the 2nd notch for the last 1/4 of the fill up. In the beginning I would full throttle the nozzle and after a few overflows and early shut offs I adopted this method.

Got mine yesterday. I’ve only had it happen a handful of times. Usually when it’s below 0* out.

Mine does this almost every time. I usually have to stand there and hold it just before the first notch, so it takes much longer to fill up. I've had it spill before too. There was some discussion on this forum about it a long time ago, and I saw that some people got it fixed already.

Super glad to see this letter. I'll be getting mine fixed asap.

Looks like the model years 2004 - 2016 is the main group covered. As of today I have yet to receive a letter on my 16 Pro.
