I have some Frontier LE wheels on the way and wanted to know if I can run 285/60 R18 tires with no lift. Did some research on here and read two different things. One member said a 2" lift or more is needed for no rubbing and another member said that tires within 31.5" - 31.9" diameter would be good. The size I'm looking at will be 31.5" in diameter. I will also be installing PRG 1.5" spacers in the front to level out my truck and wondering if that is enough to cause no rubbing.
According to American Tire Co. 285/60 R18 will fit without rubbing, but that guy is just going off the program on his computer. He said their system has never been wrong before, but I don't trust the accuracy of that program because I doubt it can factor in issues with rubbing.
If all goes as planned when everything gets here, I will be doing the spacers, wheels, and tires within 2 weeks. I plan on going with 275/60 R18 if above mentioned tires won't work.
