I found a fix for it (not tape), been a few days now with zero noise. I'll post pics when I get home. Like others here I'm not too keen on going to the dealer
Did you get a chance to post pics? Took mine to the dealer, they said they did a soap test and test drive and couldn’t replicate the issue despite me showing them a video of it. Considering going to Safelite or something like that, but looking to see if there’s anything DIY first!

No way in he77 I would pay a dime to have it fixed. Your dealership is apparently inexperienced or lazy. The wind noise is a common issue on 3rd gen Frontiers and a phone call is all it would take for them to know it - if they don't already and they're just yanking your chain. Nissan Customer Support can also help you if the dealership won't.

If you are able, wait for a day with a strong crosswind to whatever highway speed road you can do a drive with someone from your dealer. I know that mine was worst during crosswinds so that added wind boost should make sure the noise occurs at highway speed. Drive bother directions so the crosswind hits the driver and passenger side A pillar.
Can't believe your dealer hasn't encountered this issue before, it seems to be getting more common. I wouldn't spend money fixing what the dealer should fix under warranty. Is there a second dealer near by that you might be able to use?

I’ve noticed that too, biggest issue is the dealership is a ways away so tricky to get there at the right time. Definitely going to try calling around to some other dealers though, I appreciate it!

Yeah absolutely, I’m gonna do some calling around like you said. Thanks!

Just got back home, I'll take pics tomorrow. So far no more noise.

For some reason, at 78yo, I have no Faith that my dealer will fix the problem🤢
I have only driven on the interstate once since i bought the truck. I also hear a noise at 65 mph and up. I just purchased my 2025 last month.I am driving interstate again tomorrow and will listen to see if the noise repeats. I also already am losing faith already in the post purchase support. they are hard to get ahold of and often dont return messages and when they say they will do something they usually dont. Lots of promises but no action. They always use the excuse they are so busy. I observed compared to other dealerships they are working with minimum staff. I really like my truck and am very happy with it but dealer support is necessary and if they ignore you regardless of the questions that doesnt bode well for the future. On top of that they keep bugging me to give them favorable reviews on the reports they keep sending me. I am trying to give them a chance but it doesnt look promising.

Check the other threads about these known windshield issues. One has a YouTube video of the sound many are making. Nissan knows about it and it is fixed under warranty. If the sound in the video is like yours take it to them and let them know that corporate Nissan and you, already know its a known problem fixed under warranty. You could even have this website pulled up and all the threads documenting the problem and that's its fixed under warranty. Don't take "no" or "sorry we couldn't replicate it" as an answer.

Wind noise 'whistle' at highway speeds on my 24 SV"

My dealer lets me schedule appts online and they perform the service requested. What other kind of support are you missing, why are you leaving messages and what sorts of things have they promised but not done?

Are you saying your dealer allows you to schedule warranty work that requires pre-authorization?

Not sure what you are asking. The two warranty issues I've had I scheduled appt, they diagnosed and ordered parts and gave me another appt to repair. Very straight forward. Regular maintenance appts of course are just the one visit.

Here is what worked for me. The culprit is definitely the rubber windshield trim seal, not the urethane adhesive that bonds the windshield to the body. If the windshield is leaking air, then it will leak water, and you would definitely know that. Having your windshield replaced may not fix the problem since it comes down to the placement of the rubber seal around it. On my truck, the windshield is ever so slightly lower on the driver side. I figured that air was getting under the seal at the top corners especially in a crosswind, causing the seal at the top edge to vibrate against the body, and hence putting tape on the top edge stops the noise. So I set out to prevent or minimize air getting under the seal. On both upper corners of the windshield I inserted a small rubber piece under the seal, not to plug it, but snug. Water that gets under the seal at the top edge can still run off down the sides. They are small enough that they don't push up on the seal itself. There has been no more noise, and I've been up to 90 on the highway just to make sure.

I drove on the interstate again and at 70+ it gets worse and very loud. I called the service dept and they said they are familiar with the problem. So next week I am bringing it in for the recall and find out how long they will need to fix the wind noise issue. Fortunately they have included loaner availability as part of the sale and service. I will report the results when done.

I subscribed to a service contract because I thot at the time it would be a good idea. It took almost 2 months for the paper work to be provided. It turns out that it is basically oil changes and tire rotation and nothing else except to say they will check things over for obvious things none of which would be covered. The agreement states I can cancel it any time for any reason but I have to go thru the same person at the dealership who sold it to me. (more delays) According to the form, I could have gotten a full refund had I cancelled it within 60 days with no work done. By the time i received the info that time was up. (Hmm??) Anyway I am not paying them what amounts to over $250 for an oil change at 7500 miles. The owners manual suggests tire rotation at 5000 miles. Those things I always have done myself and I always change my oil at 3-5000 miles when using synthetic. Oil and filter is what about $60 +/-? If I wanted to have them, do it I dont need a contract for maintenance. I could just drive in. I already ordered some OEM NIssan oil filters from an OEM Nissan Parts dealer whole sale outlet for $6.25 ea. (part number verified with VIN #)I am doing that in case if something were to happen, they cant bust my chops for using a non-nissan filter. I probly will use Mobil-1 oil as they spec that as a choice. I think I read on the forum that Mobil is affiliated with the company who makes the Nissan "official" oil anyway. I am totally blaming myself for this mess. I should have made them give me the paperwork for review to begin with. I originally went in to just shop for the truck and had no plans to buy one at the time but I had researched and it was what I wanted so I so no reason to wait any longer. I am getting to old to deal with this kind of thing and this will likely be my last buy. Again I really like this truck. It suits my lifestyle and is fun to drive. Barring any other negative occurances, I think I made a good choice.

I'm going to have to try this before taking my 2025 Pro4X to the dealer. Easy enough to try. Thanks for the tip!

2 months waiting and no Damn windshield gasket yet. Hate this damn truck!!!!!!
It must be some sort of dealer issue. I dont know if dealerships are prioritized for parts or if it is something the dealer doesnt want to handle. Whoever does the fix needs to recalibrate the windshield to mate with the computer on the truck. It apparently is very important. Maybe the dealer cant do the work? I read on here some skip the proceess and take any risk involved. My dealer doesn't do the remove/install but hires a pro windshied guy to come in and do it and then does the recalibrate in house. It is faster that way. But on the hopeful side I was told that Nissan is creating a recall for affected models for this, maybe it will speed it up. Having said that two months seems to long without a reasonable excuse from the dealer. Have you spoken with the General Manager yet? Try giving the official nissan customer service site a call to see if they can help. I know this isnt much consolation but dont give up maybe there is another dealer close by who can help you? Maybe call some other dealer parts dept that may have a gasket in stock? I was lucky as my dealer had previous claims and must have ordered a supply of gaskets. There are a few wholesale official Nissan parts dealers online that may be a source. I know you shouldnt have to do the extra work for which you are entitled to as part of buying a truck from a dealer. But sometimes if works to your advantage to take matters to the net stage. I hate doing that because they dont like to hear negative input and become resistant and then I probly would become upset ect ect. You cant predict what will happen. Your issue is justified, but will they actually want to help resolve it especially if their hands are tied as well? All you can do is keep trying but if you hate the truck now will the fix change that? I think it will once its done. I only found out about the windshield issue on this forum. That makes it a valuable tool. Maybe someone else has some suggestions that will help you. I hope so. Good luck.

Almost 2-months and still no windshield fix! I filed a complaint with Nissan this morning, but I’m sure it’ll do no good. I HATE this truck

Talked to Nissan Customer Service and at least have a Case Number. Have no damn idea what country the Service Rep was in, but I could just barely understand the broken English 😡😡.

she asked if there was anything else she could help me with: “I said yes, buy the truck back”, she laughed 🤧
