Member's Product Sale: Zombie Burgers & Custom Wheel Caps

Aloha everyone. Member's Product Sale. Available and for sale are front and rear replacement burgers in a couple of different designs and options.
These replacement burgers were made using a laser engraving machine using materials manufactured specifically for these types of machines.
Inspiration for this came from this thread.

Overview:
Materials Available
1) Laser Engravable Plastic Outdoor Signage
Colors Available in this Material: (First color mentioned = Background color. Second color mentioned = Engraved section which is the color of the design)
a) Black/White (B/W): Black Surface, engraves white, matte finish, Surface Engraved (B/W Example)
b) Yellow/Black (Y/B): Yellow Surface, engraves black, matte finish, Surface Engraved Example
c) Brushed Aluminum/Black: Br. Alum. Surface, engraves black, matte finish, Surface Engraved Example
d) "Grey": This is actually the black/white material but at a lower resolution which gives a "checkerboard" effect that "looks" grey Example
**Surface Engraved means it is engraved from the top (surface)
2) Glow in the Dark (GID) (GID): Translucent Color, Reverse Engraved

DIY Painting Options

Paint Mask for colors a, b, or c
This option provides a "Tape Mask" which allows the customer to paint the engraved design section a color of their choosing Custom Painted Burger Mounted For front burgers paint mask is an additional $10 per burger and rear burgers this option is an additional $5 per burger. No extra charge for wheelcaps due to their size. This option is available on 1) Laser Engravable Plastic Outdoor Signage in colors a) black/white, b) yellow/black or c)brushed aluminum/black for an additional $5 per burger. This process takes 2-3 times as long to make due to the Paint Mask.

Paint Mask for color d
Recently some have been asking for a 3 color variation which combines a background color, painted color, and "Grey" combination x_mods example. Adding "Grey" as a third color requires an additional step, in addition to tape masking, because it engraves at a different resolution than any of the others and therefore is an additional $5 per burger (front or rear).

Designs Available
1) Zombie (NYTKSHR inspired)
2) X-Terra (for the guys on thenewx.org)
3) Custom Designs - No Charge if you provide the necessary artwork in electronic format (ie: Corel Draw file). additional $25+ without artwork
Example #1 "Dharma"
Example #2 x_mods custom design & painted
4) Biohazard Wheelcap, Wheelcap on the Truck

Sizes available
1) Front OEM burger replacement (measured off the burger of an 05 Frontier)
2) Rear OEM burger replacement (measured off the rear tailgate of an 05 Frontier) Front vs Rear size comparison
3) Custom resizing (to a smaller size is no extra charge, buyer to provide the exact dimensions)

Known Size Differences (July 2013)
1) 2013 Frontiers - Rear Burger is slightly smaller than 12-
2) Xterras - Front Burgers vary in size due to changes in the grill changes (forget model years off the top of my head so please measure)

GID is GOOD!

I wish the mounting was something other than stuck on. I am already thinking of a few ways to do this.

I would be in, unless it costs more than having George Romero infect you with the Zombie virus at Z-Con.
Pretty cool making them glow in the dark. Knowing the police around here I would probably get pulled for it even though it wouldn't be very bright.

I keep laughing that the crosshairs are on the zombies crotch, though that's really the only way you can get the whole pic of a zombie in there and the point across that it's through a scope.
The rear one will fit in the opening where the old burger was?

I guess I should buy a book of all the laws that mods can run afoul of! Is this really an issue? I knew certain kinds of light mods would be.

It's not a light so they shouldn't say or be able to say anything.

Looks pretty cool to me, but I'd be worried about it coming off too easily. This would definitely require some testing beforehand on the sellers part to make sure they will stay on once affixed
Yes. It is measured to be the approximately same size.

Sorry I finally figure out how to use the multi quote function.

Thanks and that is exactly what happened. I couldn't get the crosshairs on the head and it ended up where it did :)

Check out this website 3M? VHB? Tape - High-strength bonding tape is a proven alternative to screws, rivets, welds and other forms of mechanical fasteners - 3M US
This is what I use for other projects to mount this same material and it holds really really well.

I like the idea of getting rid of the rear burger...but what is DHARMA??
I would be interested.

It's from the LOST series that was on ABC for a few seasons. I kinda cracked up when I saw that. Pretty cool! Is this part of the same GB that was going on in the Xterra Forum?
Ill take a b/w zombie rear

Thanks but it wasn't my idea, gotta give props to Deltaphi216 for that one. There is a GB going on there too. Wanted to make sure CF was also included.
Here is a comparison picture of the GID material not painted (left) and painted (right). Even the painted version still has that "frost" coloring characteristic of GID material.

The one on the right is the first prototype I made and it had problems with the electronic file which caused some sections to be less black than others. This has been fixed but I do not yet have an updated picture. In the future, they will all be the same color when painted.

are they a hard plastic or flexible??
are they a hard plastic or flexible??
The B/W material is much stiffer than the GID. I would liken the B/W material to a piece of thin acrylic. So it is hard but also flexible due to its thickness. In the same way you can bend a thin piece of plexi. It is made for outdoor signage.

The GID material is thinner and is also a stiff plastic but as you can see in the pictures has also begun to bow/arch due to the amount of heat that the laser uses to engrave it.

Both materials would be flexible enough to take the shape of the tailgate (maybe with the assistance of a heat gun).

Hope that helps.
i'd be interested in the b/w zombie front one
Pretty sweet!
