Hey everyone, I'm only 17, I love cars & driving and always have, and I've done a few things to my Fronty but I'm looking into doing some more..
So far I've:
- Replaced the stock speakers & put in a rockford sub,
- K&N CAI
- Flowmaster 40 DeltaFlow Exhaust
- Silverstar ULTRA Lights (I <3 white)
- Chrome Tailgate Handle (here for $55 including s&h) ORDERED

A few things I might want to do if I can are:
- Blue LED Gauge Clusters
- Blue LED UnderDash Lights (still a meh)
- Tint front windows to match back
- Remove Amber Side Markers
- Paint Rims Graphite (mixed opinions on this one, from friends)
- Swap Grill (+ cut plate mod)
- Foglight Mod
- Shorter Antennae (stubby?)
- New Sway Bar Bushings
- 2* timing advance
- smoke head/tail lights (not sure about this one)

Keep the suggestions coming!

As you can see my mods aren't tooo expensive (with the exception of me saving up for the exhaust and CAI), but what I'm really creating this thread for is to get suggestions for how to make my frontier more unique, to make it mine, even if it's just something little. Things I could do to the exterior, interior, etc. I've searched around here a lot and have loved seeing what people have done, and I thought where else would be a better place to ask for suggestions.

For example, something I'd really want to do is get rid of those amber parts of our front headlights like I've seen some people do.. I love the way it looks but it seems like a lot of work and I might end up breaking something.. lol

dunno if you can tell from my avatar, but I also painted my front skid plate to match the calipers and drums on my truck.
I also painted the front leaf spring perches since they look like skid plates.

i'd really like to get a new grill, I've liked the look of someone's grill where it was all chrome and horizontal lines, looked good.
also, maybe that chrome handle for the back bed door

I feel your pain man, only 20 here, in college, and recently laid off, trust me you can get really creative when you're on a budget let me tell you.

There's ton's you can do for cheap. Shave the badges. Paint stuff, rims, calipers, grill, engine cover, bumpers. LED interior lights are cheap, easy, and can really set your truck apart. Getting rid of the amber side markers is pretty easy too, there's a right up somewhere on here if you search around. Good luck with it!

haha dang, but thanks for the ideas! i'm pretty interested in changing some of the LEDs inside, and I read about removing the amber markers and it seemed like a lot of work, but I photoshopped my truck to get rid of them and I must say it looked pretty sick. I'm also recently interested in getting a nice billet grill, not sure tho

Maybe, what I did when I painted mine was first, park close to the front so you can see your truck from inside, find some cans that looked appealing to me in the parts store. Then I took each can and held it up to my truck to see if it would look good on the truck.

Paint them Jet black, with a couple clear coats, gice it a little shine. AS far as the grille goes I say do mesh.

There you go bro...looks hard, but it's really not. Just a bit scary cause you gotta put part of your truck in the oven haha. But it's easy, just be sure to put new silicone back around the housing!

As for mesh for the grills, any hardware store should sell expanded metal. Just gotta paint it. I got mine from Customcargrills.com comes powdercoated already and in differnt patterns.

Cut out the plastic honey comb, and sandwich the new mesh between the chrome bezel and black plastic.
