Welcome aboard.
Good choice on the 6 speed, I love mine.
I know this might make the AT guys mad but i drove a king cab and crew cab in AT and the tranny seemed very unresponsive to me. ( not to say they are bad trannys) I had to order it in because nissan decided that the midwest doesn't like manuals and did not put one within 500 miles of kansas city. waited a week for it to be trucked in from colorado. so far it has been worth the wait!

Yeah I called 4 Nissan dealerships and found out there were only 5 used 4x4 Nissan Frontiers (at least king cabs) at dealerships on the east coast with a MT. And luckily a dealership 30 miles away from me had one :fantastic:

Auto trannys do their job and that's basically it. They'll never feel as responsive or give you the control of your ride like a 6MT will. I bought a truck that my wife will drive on occasion so it had to be an AT, otherwise I think me and most hardcore truck people prefer a MT.

Welcome to the club and enjoy your ride.

If mine wasn't a daily commuter, I would have gone with MT as well. I take it to work every day and do traffic and I didn't want to deal with it. If it was a dedicated off-roader or hunting/fishing truck, MT for sure. Plus we don't get any sort of snow down here and my part of Texas is totally flat.
