Anyone here done the swap of the Visteon XM receiver in favour of the Sirius one in an '09? From what I've read, it seems like it should be pretty straight forward:

Anything different I should expect in my '09 Fronty over the '08, or over the '08 Titan? Given what I've got sunk into Sirius stuff already, I'm hoping that picking up a used Sirius tuner (anybody got one sittin around? :) ) like this one for example is going to be a better solution for me than replacing all my home stuff. I've got XM on the cheap in my truck until end of Feb, and am hoping to have this whole thing figured out by then.

They remain (at least for now) separate entities in Canada. Although the programming is slightly different between XM and Sirius in Canada, that's the lesser issue for me. I'd never go through the hassle if it was only the programming side I was considering. I'm mainly a music guy, and there's little if any difference between the two. The bigger concern is the higher price I'll have to pay for two separate primary sat. radio accounts.

im not sure how there sending different sat signals to Ca. when your listening you dont get the sta id as XM ch XXX and sirius Ch XXX?
I believe the programming and channel mapping is the same for us north of the 49th, except that we don't have the option to get the "best of" channels" or the US locals. May be some other slight differences, but I've never looked that closely at the channel guides side by side before. We don't have any package options either.
