Hey champs,

Just got back from a 1350 mile round trip to the Grand Tetons and back with my Griz and Frontier. I went up through the rockies to get there, mountains galore and the truck just dominates those passes, loaded down. 10% grades, no problem at 12,000 feet, always had throttle left. Volant FTW! Meet my brother who works up there as a fly fishing guide and resort naturalist.

Those are new 265 75 16's on hankook dyna pro, they served me well. I $hit you not, that was the hardest I've ever wheeled my truck. No pic's of the hard core wheeling, I was driving and my bro + camera were miles away on the Griz. I almost rolled it trying to get down a steep trail with a big rock obstacle, let it roll in 1st low range, came up on 2 wheels, around the corner, fell back down. It was sweet! Best part is, 80mph on the way home, perfect smooth after all that!

For you MPG guys, click on my fuelly sig, and I was getting 18ish mpg +/- over whole trip.

Not stuck - if I was in a taco with a transfer case hanging down...

Always wanted black wheels

The ARB front bumper is in the bed with 4 wheels and 550 cc lol. That was the b-day present, as I had a little more budget. I need the ATV for elk hunting, been riding for years, and old one died, so it took priority.

I am getting that ARB front bumper once I get the radflo's and get rid of that spacer/stock setup. I think its better for the weight of the bumper, my travel is already bad with the spacer. Also, I plan to drag my ATV all over the Western US, so I'll be going with the AAL from PRG or the 3 leaf pack you have (had) in your truck.

Nice Rack; How did you mount it up back there? That looks like a fun adventure.
the rack came with straps on it to hopd it to the rear bumper while loading and un loading it. I just used those to tie to clets in the bed. Worked well and was unplanned. Just make sure no metal on rear lights.

Great pics. I also got over 18 mpg on my last tank with over 20 miles of pretty hard 4 low wheeling and going 80 mph up the steep passes on 1-70 west of Denver. Another thing that impresses me is that I've never seen my temperature gauge hit the middle even after wheeling for several hours up steep, challenging trails in 4 low. Its amazing how capable these trucks are in stock form. I need to get a little more ground clearance, but I was able to do Chihuahua Gulch bone stock. 285s and a leveling kit would make it a lot easier though... I did bottom out a few times... Traction has never been an issue. Even up steep, muddy, winding, loose sections after a creek crossing.
