New guy here from Portland (the left one). I just bought a brand new silver SV with 10 miles on it. I traded my Titan that I bought brand new back in '09. I upgraded and modded a bunch in that truck and plan to do similar stuff and things to this one.

I love the more modern stereo that comes with the Frontier although NissanConnect is probably one of the more useless things I've ever seen. I should know...I've seen clothes for dogs and headlight eyelashes.

First thing's first. I've got an appointment tomorrow to get some tint up in there so I can stop driving around in a fishbowl. After that we're looking forward to some nerf bars, rear view camera, lift, and other toys.

Anyway. I'll be poking around a lot leaning from other people's mistakes and triumphs and hopefully posting a few of my own. See you guys on the webs!!

Welcome. Silver SV - good choices, look forward to the pictures. Just wondering if our Canadian members think of Portland, Ore. as the one to the right, or did you mean politically?::smile::

Welcome to the forum!
Former Titan owner here too...
I almost thought about getting another Titan, but didn't want another full-size truck. Settled on the Frontier Pro-4X, because I wanted to get into more places I couldn't get into, with my Titan.

As of now, it's kind of a love hate relationship.
Love my Frontier, but I hate the pain in the rear that my lift kit has created.
Strong enough for off roading, but Very Poorly engineered for the streets - the steering geometry sucks, it screeches the tires with the slightest turn on smooth asphalt, and I just noticed that the spindles are contacting the lower spring cups on my coilovers, right where the outer tie rods connect to the steering knuckle part of the spindle...
and there's no going back, because some brackets have to be cut off the frame, to fit the new lift kit in place.

As for the love: I do love the stock back up camera, works great for hooking up to trailers!
Love the power, love the off road capabilities, and I love that I've actually rescued 2 jeep wranglers and one full size chevy, that were stuck in the mud.
None of which were even remotely equipped for the muddy field where these young kids tried to take their brand-new road-princesses!

Word of advice: search these forums THOROUGHLY, before you do any mods - some are irreversible, and may leave you hating the results...

Thought I recognized that screen name from TT! Did the same, got rid of the Armonster for a Frontier, not as much available for the smaller truck, and I'm having trouble getting used to not having the the V-8 anymore, though the 6 banger does pretty well!

I figured I'd keep the name just in case I would run into any former Titan cronies ::smile:: True story on the engine difference. I miss the growl when I start the engine and the endless power that thing had. I don't miss the gas card statement though. I haven't put this guy through all its paces yet, but so far I've been pretty happy with its performance.
