Wow .What a truck.I just picked it up and man .i had trucks before ,gmc ,ford,chev.This one is the one.Im going to do the tint and i ordered a toneau cover,And im trying to talk my wife into getting the cold air intake so guy's if you can help me with good excuses in why i really need this.lol

Nice looking ride , I like it. I`m just waiting to wok a little overtime to buy my CAI. As far as an excuse for your wife you could just buy it,install it and she may never know. sometimes you have to use math to your advantage.

most people seem to agree that 1 MPG is about normal to see.

well if assume that most frontiers are getting 15 mpg.
and I think we all have a 21 gallon tank.


then you will get a 1.4 gallon savings per tank which is $2.80 if you round gas to $2.00.

If you fill up 4 times a month, then you will save $11.20 per month or $134 a year (assuming 4 weeks per month) It will actually be more then this.

So If Gas is a little higher in your area then you will pay for that CAI in about a year.

My Wife Hates me when I do this.
but she can't argue with the numbers.

I guess my wife is oblivious to the mods I've done on my truck! She didn't even notice when I had the Banks Exhaust on my truck and that was loud! I have the AirAid CAI on my truck now, and it's not that noticable. If your wife is anything like mine, and nothing like Diva Lisa, she'd never know even if she were to look under the hood! :lol:

Hahaha, same here. My wife wants her ride to look good, but anything underneath, she could care less. She does care about the numbers coming down in the bank account though!!! :twisted:
