If it's not so damaged that the leather is ripped or peeling off, I would consider refinishing the leather.
Most dealerships have a leather guy that stops by every week or so to touch up and patch their used cars coming into inventory. You can also try something like Home Page | Leatherique Restoration Products if you want to do it yourself.
