I'll check with my dealer. Didn't have it last Saturday. You mentioned relays. I have the tow package minus the hitch and plug/harness. I thought this harness was simply plugged into the existing connectors zip tied to the frame?

Yes that is one part but you also need to connect a second harness and two relays inside behind the cab passenger front kick on the door hinge side

Not at my dealer, I was there yesterday for my 1k oil change and they didnt have it available.

Shop around to other dealers, some are filling back orders so will tell you that it is not available so you keep coming back to them.

Hi Rafael, I have a new 2022 Frontier and I'm getting the runaround like u can't believe. The dealer says there is no adapter harness made yet so I can't hook up my Curt controller that I removed from my 2016 Frontier. Is the white plug that sticks out at the top of the left kick panel, is trhat where the adapter harness would tie in? If so I could cut that off and splice in my old 4 wire harness. FYI my Frontier came with the trailer hitch.

If your trying to connect your brake controller it should plug in to the connector under the steering column similar to your 2016.

Did you have to cut out a place on the bumper plastic area to get the plug to snap to the bumper?

If your trying to connect your brake controller it should plug in to the connector under the steering column similar to your 2016.

OK, There is no pigtail to ty in an adapter harness under the steering column, even the service mgr can't find it. The parts dept has a diag that shows the pigtail under the lower left dash panel. That being said there is still no factory adapter harness avail. So do this-------order the CURT Blue tooth setup, plug it in to the recepticle in the bumper, plug in the trailer,download the CURT APP follow the directions and binggo your done.Now all the brake settings are on your phone. Works very well.

Not sure why you can't find it. It's just above the parking brake pedal on my 2022 SV. I ordered the harness and controller from etrailer. I'm installing it today.

I bought the hitch and the harness from a local dealer. Much cheaper than anywhere online or local places that did the installation. Yea I had to cut out the bumper. They supply a template, or you can cut from the underside as there is a perfect outline “cutout” in the metal body panel the bumper is covering. Done in a max of 2 hours and that’s with drink breaks. (and I’m a chick)

just follow directions on the techinfo page mentioned and you’re golden

Wanted to thank y’all for the details on installing this. Gave me the confidence I needed to do it myself versus the $600 the dealership wanted to install it. Only took me 2 hours (and at least 30 minutes of that was trying to make the Dremel work correctly)!
