its a 2009 xe king cab,i noticed the rubber seal coming out of the small left rear window, took it in to the dealer last wed,he informed me the seal cant be replaced the whole window will have to be replaced,i left the truck there and went on my way, thinking the following day it will be done like the adviser suggested.well had to wait till the following monday to pick it up,the adviser told me it took longer because the window had to be cut out,it was polyerathaned in.So i go to pick it up and i start looking at the job they performed, the window is not flush with the door panel, there is a 1/4 space between the window and interior door panel and all this black silicone attempting to fill the space, the exterior of the window you can see this aluminum foil or gasket sticking out the sides of the window. The job is so unprofessional its pathetic, and they didnt even bother to clean all the white powdery substance they left in the truck, i left the truck at the dealership and told them deal with it.the thing that bothers me is you leave your vehicle with the dealer and you expect your vehicle to be repaired in a professional manner,if this is not resolved would you guys go to the general manager or the actual owner of the dealership

Go to the general manager. Why didn't they have a glass company fix it?

Last time I had a car in a body shop that needed glass work they called in a glass guy instead of doing it themselves. The truck should be as it was when new.

exactly clint it should look as new,the adviser was tellin me to take the truck, and phone the service manager in the morn,i said no i have lost enough time dealin with this,i have been without the truck for 1 week now.I refused to take the truck like that and left it there. Before i went to the dealer i phoned and asked ok before i go out there the window is good no more issues, the adviser said yes its done, sure enough the saga continues

i phoned the service manager this morning,he apologized for the whole screwed up window install,i said a little late for that,he said he only found out about this problem this morn, which is hard to believe they had the truck for a week now, anyways the window was taken out today and will be installed properly he told me,said should be done tomorrow.I have learned something from this negative experience, customer service doesnt exist anymore,i told the service manager straight up this was handled so poorly, i will not be returning here to service my truck anymore,if they cant install a window properly, i dont want them workin on my truck period.

this is what we do, contract our glass guy in, he comes and does his replacement and then leaves.

went to pick up the truck yesterday june 18,the window still has a slightly larger gap than the factory ride side,i will have to accept it cause i cant deal with it anymore, after i get it home took me an hr to clean the the white dust left behind by the bodyshop, proceed to clean the exterior and notice some sort of overspray under the drivers door handle the same side as the window replacement,at the right angle you can see where its stained, maybe 4 inch long and its rough to the touch, and it wont come off,i am so disappointed but i have to move on,cant deal with this anymore

wow, thats a **** deal with the body shop, they shoulda detailed it. i detail every rig that comes out of our shop because you cannot get around that bondo dust and even if theres none in there its just a +1 on our part. and the overspray, you can use a claybar, or like goof off and then hit it with some compond cuz it will dull the clear a bit. honestly, i think your got ****ed man. that window should fit exactly the same as the other one.

the problem i have is on the second attempt they scratched the door panel even more and sent it to there to be painted,a guy at the bodyshop told me this, the dealership didnt even tell me before hand the door panel would be repainted, i go in for a warranty window replacement due to a bad seal and end up with a repainted door and a window that is gapped larger than factory

8 days ago, nissan dealer emailed me stating they will find the best way to resolve my repainted door issue without my consent to repaint because they screwed up replacing my window.I get a email today stating the best idea they can come up with is re clear coat the door again, these freakin people are to damn much, now the service manager is saying only the door frame was painted, but the whole door was clear coated thats why the door has a orange peel appearance.i told him 8 days ago you screwed up i want a new door with a new window thats fits factory flush, looks like they are trying real hard to avoid that
