i have a 99, with wheels that were on a 78 k5. they fit fine.
will wheels from a '79 chevy k10 fit my '02?
from what i've read, the bolt pattern is the same, but the hub might not fit? can anyone confirm?

Check the center hub diameter. I put some Titan wheels on my Hardbody, but had to bore the centers for clearance. The bolt pattern is the same though 6 on 5.5.
The center hub on the hardbody is roughly 4 inches and i believe that is the case up until 05 when the pattern changed to 6 on 4.5.

pilot for the rims need to be 4".
