Hey guys. I just recently purchased a 2019 Nissan Frontier. I was looking online and I can’t seem to find much aftermarket support for this truck. However I do LOVE how the new 2022 model looks in the front. I’ve seen other cars that have conversion kits to make them look like the newer model. Do you guys think a conversation kit like that will come out for the Frontier?

Thanks,

There is no 4th Gen. You’re talking about 2nd Gen (your 2019) & 3rd Gen (2022). I highly doubt there will be any kind of conversion “kit” to make the old truck look like the new one.

Difference is the new 3.8 motor and 9 spd. Tranny, plus the entire interior, as well as the revised body. Not seeing how you could swap anything. Maybe a hack for the engine and tranny. Never read of one.

The suspension is completely unchanged throughout the life-span of the D40. Most of the body and frame parts will also carry over from the 2009+ trucks, too.

"given enough time or money, anything is possible". My old boss use to say this. But typically you run out of both for a one off project which you do not have the bases knowledge to accomplish yourself. That said if you buy a cab, bed, hood, fenders, grill, and bumpers you can probably mount those to a Gen2 without too much effort given that the 2 frames are essentially the same. By then you'd be better off just selling and buying like others suggested.

There is a conversion kit. It's called the 2020/2021 model years where the older style truck got the new engine and transmission.

Yeah, it is called trading in your 2019 for 2022. Even if you could find a donor, the cost of the donor and labor would be ridiculous to say the least. the latter would by why? Just pony up and buy the new truck, you get a warranty and all that goes with it. This if not take your 50's, 60's or 70's truck and swap out suspension, power train and do custom interior. All of which would be acceptable. or just VK from VQ swap.
