You need a "Group 24." I always go to Walmart and get the Everstart Maxx. Consumer Reports always rates them at or near the top when they test them. They run about $100 and have a 3-year full replacement warranty plus another 2-years pro-rated.

I have a Everstart in my Dodge Ram. Good warranty, good price compared to auto part stores.

I went ahead and bought the Exide 24x battery. The battery was originally $94.00 but it was on sale for $84.00 and I was able to use my Dad's military discount to get 10 percent off.

Here are the specs:

CCA = 800
CA = 960
AH = 70

It also came with a 40 month warranty. ::smile::

The 24 size is normally used in these, and like 90% of all batteries in USA are made by one company, Johnson controls. I can't remember the "group", but there is a battery like 2 inches longer that will also fit into the tray; I didn't get that for my '98 as I was doing the install at night and didn't want to mess with it.
