will a 92 tailgate work on a 99 frontier kingcab?

does anyone know for sure is a 92 tailgate will work on a 99 frontier kingcab?

they look the same and the cheap shells on ebay say they will work on 86-97 hardbody and 98-00 frontier king cabs

I found a guy with a oem one from a 92 and I need to know if it will fit my 99 frontier king cab

Where are you from (location)! I have a 2000 gold desert runner tailgate that will work if you are near, do not want to ship! I am in san diego california! But to answer your question i know a 95 will work on yours and that is the same body style as a 92!
