So I noticed about a month ago this wierd noise coming from the front of my truck when I drive. It's like a metal on metal clanging, but it is damn near impossible to figure out where it's coming from. It only happens when I'm driving, and not all the time. I can hit one pot hole and silence, hit another 2 seconds later and hear it. :thatswck:

At first I thought it was my intake, but when i went under the hood and shook it around...silence. I've put the truck in park and rocked it back and forth like crazy tryin to recreate the sound but nothing....

Anyone have any ideas!?

do you have the thin metal skid/guard in the front... the one that covers the oil filter location? Mine used to rattle till i bent the crap out of it with the jack.

If you have the Nismo, sometimes the oil pan skid plate gets bend inwards, check it, because mine after the 5000mile service, mine started to rub against the oil pan itself making a little scratch.
